VidyoDesktop for Windows and Mac: Product Bulletins

In VidyoDesktop version 3.6.9, we've added support for a new operating system and we've added a new language to our VidyoDesktop user interface.

In accordance with the Vidyo Software Maintenance Policy, Vidyo is also pleased to announce version 3.6.9 as an Anchor Release. Anchor Releases for Vidyo endpoints and servers are marked in green on the Vidyo Compatibility Matrix. Vidyo is announcing an important change in this release of VidyoDesktop:

On Windows 8 and later, in certain scenarios when a user shares an application, other applications running on that user’s machine may also be shared into the conference. Due to this privacy concern, we have limited sharing on Windows 8 and later to sharing the full display only. On Windows versions earlier than Windows 8 and on Mac OS X, this issue does not exist, therefore application sharing is still available.
