This article describes how to connect to VidyoConnect™, VidyoDesktop™, and VidyoMobile™ using a desktop application, browser, or mobile device as a registered or guest user. If you are using VidyoWeb™, you can only access as a guest user.
Registered and guest users are defined below:
- Registered users have the VidyoConnect, VidyoDesktop, or VidyoMobile application installed on their computer or mobile device, and have a username and password associated with the application(s). When they receive a link to log in to the VidyoPortal™ to join a video meeting, they are eligible to log in as authenticated users.
- Guest users are unregistered users who don’t have any of the Vidyo applications installed on their computer or mobile devices; however, they can join video meetings to which they are invited by a registered user.
Use the table below to determine how to connect as a registered or guest user based on the application chosen and whether you are using a desktop application, browser, or mobile device.
