VidyoConnect for Desktop Version 19.1.0: General Availability Release

Vidyo is Pleased to Announce Version 19.1.0 of the VidyoConnect™ Desktop Application

Vidyo is happy to announce that version 19.1.0 of the VidyoConnect desktop application includes integration support for TytoCare, a cloud-based telehealth solution that simulates a comprehensive physical examination using a portable WiFi-enabled diagnostic device. The Tyto device allows medical professionals to examine a patient at the Point of Care (POC) and broadcast the exam data to a remote clinician.

Important Notice: Version 19.1.0 will be released Thursday, February 7, 2018. In order to better serve you with a predictable release schedule, you will receive advance notice of future releases rather than receiving notice on the day of the release.

What's New?

TytoCare Integration

  • When the Tyto device is used in conjunction with the VidyoConnect desktop application, the remote clinician can virtually meet with the POC users via secure and reliable video conferencing. 
    • The integration enables the TytoCare solution to act as a robust extension of the remote clinicians’ diagnostic capabilities by allowing them to see and speak with patients while conducting virtual stethoscope, otoscope, skin, and other basic medical exams. Combined, the TytoCare Professional (TytoPro/TytoClinic) solution and the Vidyo telehealth solution provide a single cohesive workflow for telehealth providers.

  • The TytoCare integration requires VidyoConnect version 19.1.0 as well as VidyoPortal™ version 18.4.0.

New Settings Layout

  • The VidyoConnect desktop application settings has a fresh new look! You can still find the Settings button  at the top right corner of the application, but it will now open a tabbed window that consolidates General settings, Audio/Video settings, Account details, Integrations (including calendar), About details, and Help details (including generating logs for troubleshooting).
