Google's plan to transition their Chrome™ WebRTC implementation from the SDP format (called “Plan B”) to a standards conformant format (called the “Unified Plan”) prevents WebRTC from successfully running on Chrome 72.
To avoid this issue and enable Vidyo Server for WebRTC to run properly on Google Chrome 72, Vidyo™ has developed a patch: the Vidyo Server for WebRTC FF58P-GC72 patch.
You must upgrade to the patch version (version 3.22.0010-FF58P-GC72P) from Vidyo Server for WebRTC version 3.2.2. To apply the patch:
- If you're a cloud customer, you don't need to take any action; Vidyo will apply the patch for you.
- If you have an on-premises Vidyo Server for WebRTC, refer to the Vidyo Server for WebRTC: About Version 3.2.2 (0010) FF58P-GC72 Patch article for information about how to upgrade to version 3.2.2.0010-FF58P-GC72P.
Once this patch has been installed, version number 3.2.2.0010-FF58P-GC72 will be displayed on your System Console.
