In order for VidyoWeb to work properly with Chrome:
- The VidyoWebConnector Chrome Extension must be enabled.
- The minimum requirement is OpenGL 2.0, and the latest GPU/Graphics driver should be installed (with OpenGL 2.0 support).
VidyoWeb may run successfully in environments other than those listed in the table above; however, only these environments have been tested and are supported by Vidyo.
Vidyo has tested VidyoWeb using the out-of-box settings. Issues may occur when using different browsers and security settings.
Portal Compatibility
If you are an on-premises customer and you need to determine which version of the VidyoPortal™ your VidyoWeb version is compatible with, refer to the Vidyo Compatibility Matrix.

---|---|
Key | Summary |
VWEB-3568 | Vidyo fixed an issue so users can now click the Add Extension button to successfully install the VidyoWeb extension when using Chrome 71. Additionally, Vidyo has updated the API package (e.g., new installers and JS files) to apply when building custom applications for this scenario. |
VWEB-3562 | Vidyo fixed a bug so now guest users can join a conference by selecting the Join button when using Chrome 71; rather than seeing an endless spinner. |
VWEB-3570 | Vidyo resolved an issue so users can now install the VidyoWeb extension even after closing the install tab with the VidyoWebConnector. The Install VidyoWeb Extension pop up now displays correctly allowing the user to add the extension successfully in Chrome. |

VWEB-3569 | A black border no longer appears after a user leaves a conference from the Vidyo Join page. |
Known Issue

VidyoWeb Version 1.3.27 (0001) - Known Issue | |
---|---|
Key | Summary |
VWEB-3591 | If you use VidyoWeb™ or VidyoWeb API plugin with macOS using Chrome™ version 76 or later, you will be unable to join a call after entering your name and clicking Join. There are compatibility issues between our Vidyo plugins (specifically VidyoClientForWeb) and the current/latest versions of Chrome/MacOS.
