Important Notice for Customers Using VidyoClient Version 3.x or VidyoMobile for iOS with iOS 12 or Later

Update: Vidyo has released VidyoMobile for iOS 2.4.5 and VidyoClient 3.5.14 which fixes the below issues, please update to this version. 

If you are using VidyoClient™ version 3.x, VidyoMobile™ for iOS, or other legacy-based Vidyo™ products with iOS 12 or later, you may have experienced crash issues when using VidyoClient 3.x applications (including VidyoMobile for iOS version 2.4.4, which is currently on the Apple® App Store). As soon as Vidyo became aware of these issues, we actively worked to correct them and now have a solution available.

Here are additional details about the issues:

  • If you were using a VidyoClient version 3.x client or VidyoMobile for iOS version 2.4.4 and you attempted to join a call, the application may have crashed and returned to the Home screen without joining you to the call. This issue was more prevalent when using iOS 12.1. 
  • If you were using a VidyoClient version 3.x client or VidyoMobile for iOS version 2.4.4 and you were already in a call, the application may have crashed if you received a cellular call (whether or not you answered the cellular call).
