VidyoDesktop for Windows and Mac: About Version 3.6.15

What's New in this Release

Here's what's new in this release:

  • Resolved Issue
    • This release fixes an issue where, on Mac platforms, VidyoDesktop could not be upgraded from within the VidyoDesktop client application when the client was offered the upgrade from the connected portal:
      • The source of the issue was a faulty mechanism by which the certificate checking of the new release was done by the currently installed VidyoDesktop release. This is a type of issue that can only be solved in the forward direction. Hence, with this fix and after successfully installing VidyoDesktop version 3.6.15, if the client application is ever offered a newer version in the future (for example, version 3.6.16, 3.6.17, etc.), the upgrade will check the proper parameters and should successfully allow the upgrade to occur.
