VidyoCloud™ has been experiencing service interruptions. Service is now fully restored and operational.
As of 14:51 EST, some VidyoCloud customers experienced the following service incident:
Vidyo calls were dropped between 14:51 to 14:57 EST, another interruption was noted between 20:59 and 21:42 EST
As of 21:42 service has been fully restored to our west coast data center.
This incident was caused by a DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service) attack on our west coast data center. This impacted performance for VidyoCloud customers whose calls were engaged with that data center. Our Operations team is working on a global project to improve the way we detect and respond to DDoS attacks to minimize the impact of such incidents going forward.
The incident has been resolved and the attack subsided.
