Please try the following:
please try to set the word/excel/PowerPoint window on topmost, not covered by any other windows, within screen area.
Or, please share the whole desktop screen.
The issue is observed when the office application is covered by other windows or window is out of the screen area.
Regarding 2,
there are some known issues with windows 7,
normally resolved by latest GPU drivers as well as making sure the user uses Aero theme.
Please try to use Aero theme and update the GPU.
Please also be noted that there can be transparent/invisible objects.
For example on Sony Vaio machines, they have a toolbar called Vaio Gate that places a transparent window over the top 1/3 of the desktop. And the shared application can be covered by such transparent objects and not on topmost.
- Put the shared application on topmost
- Update GPU driver from the manufacturer's website (not Windows update)
- Use Aero theme for Windows
- Stop specific tools which can be transparent objects on desktop.
- Share the entire desktop
- Microsoft Office application
- Windows 7

Our customer is not happy with "Desktop Sharing" workaround they demand to fix the issue regarding 1.
Can you find anyway to fix the issue of 1. ?
We're sharing the comment sent by M. Yuma Tejima.
We can't explain to our customer to not use PPT document or use them but with condition mentioned below.
Hi,
There is the option of ensuring the Powerpoint presentation is not set in full screen mode but rather in a window view.
Once this is done, the user will be able to share the Powerpoint presentation and not have to worry about sharing the entire desktop.
If further assistance is needed, please do not hesitate to contact Vidyo.
