Vidyo has discovered an interoperability issue that may occur when Vidyo equipment is deployed behind SonicWALL firewalls. We are not aware of similar interoperability issues with other firewall products.
The deployment options, known to introduce the interoperability issues, are listed below:
VidyoVoice Interoperability with SonicWALL Firewall- VidyoVoice service cannot be deployed when a VidyoRouter is behind a SonicWALL firewall. SonicWALL Firewall Between VidyoRouters Causing Cascade Failure
- An interoperability issue may occur when two VidyoRouters separated by a SonicWALL firewall attempt to cascade to each other. The cascade attempt fails and results in users successfully joining VidyoConferences, but unable to see other participants.
- An interoperability issue may occur when a VidyoRouter is behind a SonicWALL firewall causing users to sometimes experience one-way audio while using VidyoVoice or other legacy endpoints.
