Whitelisting VidyoConnect with Security Applications

Follow

In certain protected environments, to successfully establish a  VidyoConnect session, the computer security and/or network security should be configured to white list the application.

In many cases this is done by simply clicking “Allow” when a security application (such as Windows Firewall, Symantec, etc.) prompts for it. In other cases a manual exception or the involvement of corporate IT may be required to allow VidyoConnect through the network via a policy change.

Please refer to your security software manual for more information on how to create exceptions and allow applications through. Security software is defined as anti-virus software, personal firewall, Internet security applications, etc. If VidyoConnect is not found under the security software exception pages, navigate to the VidyoConnect installation directory and add VidyoConnect.exe.
